About Phil
I’m a RADA-trained actor with over 20 years of professional experience across theatre, television, and film. I’ve worked on stages such as the National Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe, the West End and on screen in productions including 1917 and John Carter.
Alongside my acting career, I’ve taught and coached at respected training institutions including Arts Educational and the British American Drama Academy. I work with both aspiring and professional actors, as well as with people who want to improve confidence, presence, and communication for public speaking or presentations.
My sessions are practical, focused, and tailored to you. Whether you’re preparing for auditions, working on Shakespeare or contemporary scenes, developing your on-camera technique, or exploring acting through song, I’ll help you make clear progress and feel more confident in your work. Lessons are supportive but challenging, with an emphasis on skills you can use straight away.

If you’re looking to feel more confident and connected in your performance, I’d love to help. Whether you’re preparing for drama school auditions, working towards LAMDA exams, or getting ready for professional auditions, I offer focused, one-to-one support tailored to you.
We can work on monologue and text analysis, voice and breath, and developing performances that feel truthful and grounded rather than overworked. My aim is to help you feel prepared, confident, and able to walk into auditions knowing what you’re doing and why.
I also work with clients on public speaking and presentation skills. If nerves or breath control are holding you back, we’ll tackle those practically and calmly, helping you communicate clearly and confidently. I support professionals and corporate clients who want to improve presence, clarity, and connection when speaking in front of others.
Lessons are supportive, practical, and focused on real progress. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be very happy to work with you.
