About Felicity Childs
Felicity Childs Smith is an acting coach for singers and dancers with a rich background in movement, storytelling, and performer-centered direction. With foundations in ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical dance, and extensive experience in theatre, she has performed in ballets, plays, musicals, and recently appeared as a burlesque performer in a feature film. Her training includes classes at The Groundlings, a background in devised theatre, and experience teaching ballet to disabled adults as well as jazz and tap to young adults shaping an adaptive, creative, and compassionate coaching style rooted in emotional authenticity and character-driven performance. She holds an MFA in Film Production with an emphasis in Directing Actors from Chapman University, blending movement expertise with actor focused directing to help performers unlock character, intention, and emotional truth in every song and piece of choreography.
