About Jonny

Jonny started playing musical instruments and singing when he was around 12 years old. He went to music college at 16, then studied a BA in Popular & Contemporary Music at Newcastle University, furthering his education at The London College of Music. He has been teaching and creating music professionally for 10+ years. Jonny has written and performed his own music in various projects. About the lesson

My teaching method is relaxed, fun and spontaneous. I will have topics to touch on, chords, reading music or learning songs - but its also up to the student what they want to learn. I can teach music theory and develop technique.

Alexei

Jonny is an outstandingly talented musician with both a nurturing energy and an infectious playful enthusiasm. I can confirm that Jonny works at the highest achievable standards as a songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist. As a tutor myself - I would vouch that any student would be very fortunate to have Jonny as their teacher!
