About Ian
I grew up in a suburb in Bloemfontein, with somewhat conservative but hardworking parents. It is owing to strong inbred values and morals that diligence and discipline became evident to many, as diligence could be seen in the standard and presentation of my school work so was my unwavering good behavior that well sounded first, off the lips of my peers and class teachers alike if ever asked to describe me. I was elected by my Secondary School peers to serve them on the school's Representative Council for Learners, where I experienced how to practice Corporate Governance on a small scale - "a taste of Leadership". The abovementioned, was of high prevalence in molding my personality - I always aimed to impress, Never gave up in something I do and I never back down. I always challenge myself to achieve, ever so modest, did I want to share my inquisitiveness, curiosity and enthusiasm for literature with my community. I want to begin now in my peak, to build a legacy, with some of the core values being sharing and receiving knowledge, Uplifting and supporting the developmental growth within ourselves, Always try and be helpful, Offer polite and constructive advice or information for upliftment - I am a very positive person.

Why do I think Ian is a trustworthy tutor? Motivates - He encourages his students to strive to be the best they can, to reach their goals, recognize their strengths, and focus on learning how to learn so that they will be successful in the future. Encourages the students to identify several alternative studies. He maintains professional boundaries. Desire to help. He can explain material in multiple ways. Can sense when students do not understand and willingly tries another approach to presenting the material.
He has been my recent tutor and he did a great job in helping me understand mathematics. I highly recommend him!
