Hello! My name is Farhana Hadi, and my approach to tutoring is built on patience, clarity, and creating a safe space where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. As an Accounting graduate, I bring strong analytical skills and a structured mindset to my classes, ensuring that complex topics are broken down into easy, logical steps.
My Techniques and Teaching Methodology :
I believe that learning should be active, not passive. I use a three-step methodology that yields great results:
1. Interactive Concept Breakdown: I explain the core concept using real-world examples (like using business concepts for Math or conversational stories for English) and interactive digital tools.
2. Collaborative Practice ("We Do"): We solve problems or analyze text together. This allows me to see exactly where the student gets stuck and correct them gently in real time.
3. Independent Boost ("You Do"): The student completes a short challenge on their own to lock in their understanding and build genuine exam confidence.
Typical Length of a Lesson :
My typical lesson length is 60 to 90 minutes. For younger students, a 60-minute session is ideal to keep their focus sharp. For older or secondary-level students, a 90-minute session allows us enough time to thoroughly cover a topic, practice exam-style questions, and review any school homework.
My Qualifications and Experience as a Tutor :
I hold a degree in Accounting, which gives me an exceptionally strong foundation in Mathematics and structural English. While I am a fresh tutor on this platform, I have spent years helping peers, friends, and family members simplify their studies. My unique strength is that I don't teach like a strict lecturer; I guide students like an encouraging, knowledgeable mentor who knows exactly how to make tough concepts click.

My lessons are specially designed for Primary and Secondary school students (ages 7 to 17) who want to improve their grades, catch up on topics they missed in school, or build their confidence before major exams.
