About Matt
In university, I completed a double major in accounting and data analytics with a 3.85 GPA. I struggled a lot early on with connecting with a passion in school, but when I saw the real world impact from seemingly “back-room bean counters”, I fell in love with the specific and irreplaceable value that accounting professionals can bring to organizations or in starting their own businesses. My goal is to not only help you succeed in your classes, but, if you desire to go forward with accounting, to help you find your own passion!

As an external auditor & risk assurance consultant, I have a strong grasp on how accounting problems relate to the real world at all levels (public, private, NPO). I am extremely open and value feedback on how I can make my sessions more beneficial for you. Professors try to teach us out of books, my goal is to make the problems & numbers make sense to each person based on their experience & goals!
