About Alixandra
I have 10 years of experience in the accounting field and have in my time become a widely recognized Air Force Accountant in the National Capital Region. I hold an MBA with a concentration in accounting. I have a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old at home which is what sparked the drive to help other kids. Numbers are my favorite thing and sharing that with those around me is a passion. I love teaching what I love. Seeing the face of children when they get answers right is worth it all. I am located in Southern Maryland and can do in person locally or remote for anywhere else.

Every student learns differently and that means everyone needs their own plan. I explain and teach things in a way that takes away the "why" and instead start from the very beginning when explaining things.
I grew up in the "because I said so era". But when my 5-year-old asked me why 2+2 equals 4, I knew it was time to pull out the diagrams and build a foundation behind the why. Numbers do not lie and there are no subjective answers. Therefore, the foundation a child learns is what they are able to build on the rest of their lives.
Each lesson is tailored to the individual. Whether it is 2+2 or differential equations. The goal is to teach the concept and not specific problems. Once the concept is learned, then the problems are able to be solved.
I teach Elementary and Middle school since the focus is foundation for building blocks.
Specific assignment help is available for High School and Bachelor/Master Level Students.
