About Brittany
I am a professional violin tutor with 21 years of experience teaching school students, college learners, and working professionals. I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals and discover the beauty of music through effective and enjoyable lessons.
My teaching philosophy emphasises patience, understanding, and individual growth. I believe every student has the ability to succeed with proper guidance and encouragement. I create lessons that are tailored to the student's level and interests to ensure steady progress.
Throughout my career, I have helped many students improve their musical skills and gain confidence in performing. One of my proudest accomplishments has been seeing students transform their curiosity into a lasting passion for music.
I aim to create a positive learning experience that motivates students to continue growing and achieving success.

My teaching methodology is built on compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe every student learns at a different pace, so I personalise my teaching approach according to their needs, goals, and learning style. I focus on creating a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable and confident.
In violin lessons, I emphasise strong fundamentals such as posture, bow control, finger placement, rhythm, intonation, and music reading. I teach step by step and make sure students understand each concept clearly before moving forward. I also include practical exercises and regular practice guidance to support steady improvement.
Besides violin, I teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, sight reading, and rhythm training. These help students develop a complete understanding of music and improve overall performance skills.
My goal is to help students grow into confident musicians with discipline, creativity, and a lifelong love for music.
