About Lou
I am an experienced Singing tutor with 12 years of teaching expertise. I work with School students, College students, and Working Professionals who are passionate about improving their vocal abilities and developing a deeper connection with music.
My teaching philosophy is centered on personalized learning, creativity, and continuous growth. I believe that every student has the potential to become a confident singer when provided with the right guidance and encouragement. Therefore, I design lessons that are tailored to individual goals and learning preferences.
My lessons cover vocal exercises, breathing techniques, pitch improvement, rhythm practice, voice projection, articulation, and performance preparation. I use engaging activities, song-based learning, and constructive feedback to help students strengthen their skills and confidence. Students are encouraged to explore their creativity while mastering technical fundamentals.
Besides Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Coaching, and Music Appreciation. These related subjects provide students with a broader understanding of music and help them become more complete musicians. I also share practical strategies for effective practice and vocal care.
My goal is to create a positive learning experience where students feel inspired to achieve their best. Through dedication and support, I help learners develop strong vocal abilities and a lifelong appreciation for music.

My methodology for teaching Singing focuses on achieving excellence through flexibility, creativity, understanding, and time management. I believe that successful singers need both strong vocal techniques and a deep understanding of music.
I begin by assessing each student's abilities, goals, and musical interests. This allows me to create customized lessons that support individual growth and development.
Creativity is integrated throughout my lessons through vocal exercises, song interpretation, listening practice, and performance projects. These activities help students develop confidence, creativity, and technical skill.
My lessons focus on breath support, pitch accuracy, rhythm, diction, vocal tone, expression, vocal health, and stage presence. Students receive practical guidance and constructive feedback that supports continuous improvement.
Understanding and encouragement are central to my teaching philosophy. I create a positive atmosphere where students feel motivated to learn, experiment, and achieve their goals.
Time management ensures that lessons remain focused and productive. Every session includes warm-ups, technical development, song practice, and progress reviews.
Along with Singing, I can teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Singing, Vocal Wellness, and Performance Preparation. My goal is to help students become versatile, confident, and accomplished musicians who can enjoy and share music throughout their lives.
