About Étáin
I have taught piano to both young and adult learners. I have always found that learners truly enjoy my classes and flourish under my guidance. Indeed, one of my former piano students has recently opened his own recording studio! I strive to help learners realise their potential, regardless of their level. With extensive teaching experience, I understand the value of a positive attitude and establishing rapport with the leaner.
My teaching experience also extends to teaching ballet, modern jazz and tap classes to junior students of dance. From this experience I have developed essential teaching skills which are transferable to any subject. I am a qualified TEFL teaching specialist and have worked as a private English tutor to young learners in Spain.
I love teaching, whatever the subject, and consider it a privilege to be able to share my knowledge with my students!

I completed my Grade 8 piano training with West London College of Music and my Grade 5 harp training with ABRSM. I was awarded the Young Songwriters' Award in 2016 and since then, have received a number of national awards for my composition skills.
I am familiar with examination material and can help students achieve outstanding results in music theory examinations. I can also assist students who wish to develop their creative side. As a songwriter, I can offer music theory classes which specialize in composition. The primary aim of these classes is to support students' artistic expression through music.
My classes focus on the unique needs, motivations, and interests of the learner. Whether you are interested in learning the basics, or want to build upon your pre-existing knowledge of music theory , I can help you achieve your objective.
