About Sophie
I am a committed ESL tutor with 8 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Teaching is something I truly enjoy, and I always aim to make learning meaningful.
I have worked with 150 to 200 students, helping them improve their English step by step. This has helped me understand different learning needs.
One of my proud milestones is seeing students become confident in communication. Many have improved their speaking and writing skills.
My teaching approach is simple, clear, and interactive. I encourage students to practice and stay motivated.

My teaching methodology for ESL is centered on helping students become confident and independent communicators. I use real-life examples and case studies to make lessons practical and easy to understand.
This allows students to connect what they learn with real-world communication. I focus on motivation by encouraging students and creating a supportive learning environment.
I include problem-solving activities such as role-plays, discussions, and real-life scenarios to improve communication skills. I follow integrity by giving honest feedback and guiding students clearly.
I also maintain flexibility by adjusting lessons based on each student’s learning style, pace, and goals. Besides ESL, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and communication skills to help students achieve fluency.
