About Ella
I enjoy creating a positive learning environment where college students can develop their piano skills with confidence. With over 12 years of teaching experience, I focus on making every lesson clear, practical, and enjoyable.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and easy to follow. I explain every topic in simple English, demonstrate techniques carefully, and encourage students to practice consistently at their own pace.
I use innovative learning methods including digital music resources, rhythm exercises, ear training, song analysis, and personalized assignments. These methods help students stay interested while developing strong musical foundations.
Students improve note reading, scales, chords, finger techniques, posture, rhythm, and expressive playing. I provide practical feedback and customized practice plans that support continuous improvement and confidence.

I believe learning piano should be enjoyable, meaningful, and well-structured. My teaching methodology focuses on helping students build a strong musical foundation while developing confidence and creativity. Every lesson is planned according to the student's learning style, experience, and personal goals.
I make learning practical by using real-life examples and simple case studies. Musical concepts are connected with everyday experiences so students can understand them naturally. Instead of teaching only from books, I explain how music is used in performances, films, worship, and daily life. This helps students appreciate the value of what they are learning.
Understanding is at the center of my teaching. I explain each concept patiently and make sure students master one topic before moving to the next. Students learn reading notes, rhythm, scales, chords, technique, and expression in an organized way.
Communication is essential in every lesson. I create a comfortable environment where students feel free to ask questions and express their ideas. I provide clear explanations, demonstrations, and constructive feedback that helps students improve after every class.
Integrity is one of my guiding principles. I treat every student with fairness and respect, encourage regular practice, and give honest advice that supports long-term success rather than short-term results.
Apart from piano, I also teach keyboard, music theory, ear training, sight reading, improvisation, chord progressions, accompaniment techniques, and beginner composition. My goal is to help students become skilled, confident, and independent musicians who enjoy learning throughout their lives.
