About Abdul Matheen
I have over 30 years of teaching experience. Currently, I am a lecturer at University of West London (UWL) and doing research. On Superprof, since 2010, I have been dedicated to helping students to write their academic projects including dissertations and theses on accounting, business and finance. By far, I have taught hundreds of students who studied in the UK universities, including PhD students. I can offer academic guidance on both qualitative and quantitative academic works as well as systematic review or extended literature reviews. In addition, I provide 1:1 support in writing assignments on accounting, business, finance, marketing and education.

I am a professional tutor giving undergraduate and postgraduate students the support they need to put together their academic projects, including essay and report writing, research proposal and dissertation writing. I use the latest technology to teach and the most recent references in my teaching. I also ask a lot of questions to ensure that students understand what I teach. I can offer support to students in many areas, including... * how to choose a researchable topic, * writing a research proposal, * how to reference, * how to write a critical literature review, * developing a research design, * addressing ethical issues, * how to go about collecting data, * developing an interview schedule and a questionnaire, * analysing qualitative data * Analysing quantitative data using SPSS and Excel * presenting quantitative and qualitative findings, * proofreading, with deep editing approach - content, style and structure etc. * editing and improvement of essays and reports. * finding relevant literature. * reviewing your written work and provide written feedback.

Perfect! I came to Superprof and Abdul in early 2021, in search of support with my MSc-level Quantitative Research Methods module.
I had achieved distinctions in my other modules and was aiming for the same again. Working with Abdul helped the penny drop in terms of understanding the nuances and precision of what was required to produce research papers of high quality. Our conversations and his feedback helped switch my mindset, which resulted in several "ah-ha!" moments for me. These were the differentiators between good marks and great marks. I received 78 and 76 in my marked assessments for the module, which were my highest to-date, and the highest in the year for this module (which is the one people find the most challenging!).
Abdul was super easy to talk to, warm and engaging, right from our very first conversation. He listened to what I wanted to achieve and was patient answering my many questions. He was also incredibly flexible in terms of scheduling sessions, always working to accommodate my offer tight timescales.
I've enjoyed my experience working with him, and have since reached out to him again to support my final MSc dissertation, which we're currently working on.
I don't usually bother with reviews but I highly recommended working with Abdul.
