I am a professional, academic English teaching assistant! I have been giving lessons online for nearly 4 years now! My students have achieved all sorts of GCSE's, merits and distinctions. I teach a range of different subjects. My classes are very exciting and fun as I cut the education down in step by steps so that it stays in your mind. My name is Jessica and I am a 4th year English teaching assistant around Cheshire. My teaching method of instruction is to use broad strokes to outline the big ideas for the class. I cut down everything difficult into minor sections in order for my pupils to see more sense. My characteristics are to review the learning of the pupils by setting up a quick initial assessment on a topic that they want lessons on in order to see where they are at with their learning. I provide a lot of systematic feedback and corrections in order for the pupil to pick up and learn.
To be a true formative student, the student must know:
that their response was incorrect, why the response was incorrect, and how to get the response correct.
This requires a high level of engagement between the pupil and I.
