My philosophy is that English is more than just a subject-it is a tool for global opportunity. Drawing from my technical background at HBTU, I bring a highly structured, logical, and analytical approach to language learning. I break down complex grammar and writing rules into "building blocks" that are easy to visualize and memorize.
I specialize in Scaffolded Learning, where I provide the necessary support in the beginning and gradually encourage the student to take the lead. Having taught students from Japan, I am particularly skilled at identifying "interference" from a student’s native language and helping them overcome it to achieve natural fluency.
The Structure of a Typical Class
To ensure consistent progress, my 60-minute sessions generally follow this flow:
The Warm-Up (5-10 mins): A quick conversational drill or a "Grammar Spark" quiz to get the brain switched into English mode.
Core Concept (20 mins): An interactive deep dive into the day’s topic—whether it's decoding a complex text for Reading or mastering a specific Grammar rule.
Active Practice (20 mins): This is the "Learning by Doing" phase. We might co-write a paragraph, analyze a literary passage, or engage in a guided debate.
Review & Feedback (10 mins): We summarize the key takeaways and I provide a personalized "Action Plan" for the week.
