About Grace
I’ve gone from failing French tests to acing every class and speaking French for fun, so I am thoroughly prepared to help you get there too! Regardless of how tedious or confusing the assignment might be, I can always detect what’s important to learn and what’s busywork. More importantly, I’ve honed my critical analysis skills to find ways to transform busy work into rewarding lessons that will actually help you feel more confident about your French skills. As your tutor, I will always approach our work as an opportunity to figure things out together, not just to lecture one-sidedly. Your experience with French, whether positive or negative, is valuable, and that will always be a central piece of our lessons!

Working backward from there is how we’re going to ensure that you get as many cool French skills as possible AND ace your classes without doing unnecessary or tedious work. As a Global Literary Theory student working at the level of college literature and research in French, I’m well-prepared to support any high school or basic to intermediate language learners. My favorite thing is supporting grammar lessons and I’m happy to help you through tricky gender/number agreement and verb conjugations!
