I am an experienced Tutor, University lecturer & researcher specializing in electrical engineering and Energy Systems. I hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Energy Technology from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium, and a master’s in electrical power engineering from Bahir Dar University. Over the past 13 years, I’ve taught more than 20 university-level courses in electrical and renewable energy systems to both undergraduate and graduate students and also provided tutoring for high school students including algebra, Mathematica, Basics of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Through this journey, I’ve learned that the most impactful learning comes not just from content, but from how it's delivered engaging, clear, and responsive to the learner’s needs. I strive to make every tutoring session both educational and enjoyable. My teaching style is built around structured lesson plans and student-focused, where I introduce each topic clearly and creatively, explain the core material in an approachable way, and then give students guided time to practice and master the concepts. This approach is always adapted to fit the student’s background, learning pace, and goals. I’ve worked extensively with students in power systems, electrical circuits, renewable energy, electrical machines and drives, power electronics and even foundational subjects like Algebra and Engineering Mathematics. I’ve also trained and mentored professionals in energy auditing, battery systems, smart grids, wind power plant and solar design. My tutoring spans across academic, research and practical application support. I truly enjoy helping students grow confident in technical subjects, and I welcome input from both students and parents to make learning as effective as possible.
