About Jovilda
I am an AAT-qualified finance professional and full MAAT member with nearly 10 years of experience working in Accounting and Finance. I also hold the CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting and have worked across four major public-sector organisations in England.
Throughout my career, I have gained practical experience in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments and business finance. This allows me to teach Accounting in a way that connects the theory to how it is used in real organisations.
I know that Accounting can sometimes feel overwhelming, particularly when you are first introduced to double entry, financial statements or management accounting. My aim is to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and working through topics at their own pace.
I am patient, approachable and passionate about helping others develop both their knowledge and confidence. Whether you are a complete beginner, studying A-Level Accounting or working towards an AAT qualification, I will tailor each lesson to your individual needs and help you make steady progress towards your goals.

My approach is friendly, patient and practical. I understand that Accounting can initially feel confusing, so I break each topic into manageable steps and explain the reasoning behind the calculations rather than simply teaching students to memorise rules.
Lessons are personalised around each student’s level, syllabus and goals. I use clear explanations, worked examples, guided practice and exam-style questions to help students apply what they have learnt. I also use real-world examples from my finance career to show how Accounting principles are used in the workplace. We will regularly recap previous topics, identify areas that need more attention and build confidence through practice.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and usually includes a short review, an explanation of the chosen topic, guided questions, independent practice and a final recap. Students are always encouraged to ask questions, and I adapt my teaching style and pace to suit them.
I am AAT-qualified, a full MAAT member and hold the CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting. I have nearly 10 years of professional Accounting and Finance experience, including management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments.
My online lessons are suitable for teenagers and adults, including complete beginners, A-Level Accounting students, AAT students and anyone wanting to improve their practical Accounting knowledge.
