About Mason
I am a 4th year dual-degree undergrad student studying biology and mathematics. Beyond academics, I enjoy mentoring and helping learners build long-term confidence in their studies. I used to tutor students at my university every week until they cut the program I was funded by, so now I am looking to take my skills elsewhere.

My approach to tutoring focuses on breaking down complex, intimidating concepts into logical, digestible steps. I believe that anyone can master math with the right framework, so my teaching method relies heavily on interactive problem-solving, visual conceptualization, and tailoring explanations to how an individual student learns best. A typical lesson plan begins with a quick review of any current homework or troublesome concepts the student brings to the table. From there, we work through targeted practice problems together, gradually shifting the heavy lifting to the student so they build genuine independent confidence. My lessons are designed for middle school, high school, and undergraduate students looking to not just learn but to deeply understand mathematics.
