My teaching methods do not follow a linear teaching style but rather an interactive one between tutor and tutling(s). As a tutor, I follow the brief or given material and engage the student with the material as well. Looking at what you understand and what you don't, helps me create a strategy suitable for each student to work effectively. Because every student is different and teaching methods should take that into consideration. Focus is placed on the areas that one struggles in while enhancing their knowledge on their strengths. Tutoring includes help with assignments as well. As a career counselor, my role is to support the student and provide them with the necessary information to make informed decisions on their future. My role is not to make the decision for the student nor to impose my views, but to motivate and support their decisions.
