About Conrad
My name is Conrad Scullion. I graduated St Andrews College in Aurora in 2015 and am currently entering my 4th year of studies at the University of Western Ontario in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science with a Specialization in Biology. People always tell me they think science is boring when I tell them my major, but I was lucky enough to always have great teachers who never made me feel that way. I hope I can do the same for you or your child!

Finding the answer to a single question in the world science can be very frustrating for some people because it often come with less understanding, not more. One revelation that took forever to understand can lead to 20 new problems that appear even harder. My teaching style is focused on getting the student to not view this cycle of events as something that is overwhelming, but as something that is fascinating. By using my advanced knowledge of the subject to relate new, boring topics, to the amazing implications they have down the line I keep studying fun and rewarding.
The key to science, like many courses, is establishing a foundation from which to build on. The student must not rush through the basics or they will not be able to understand the later concepts either. If they are lacking prior knowledge from an earlier year or class it is often necessary to go back and supplement that knowledge. In the end the student will not regret it, because their understanding of the basic tenets of science will lead to a world of science that has opened up for them to explore.
