About Emma
I’m a third-year Vet student aspiring to become a wildlife vet, with a passion for both science and helping others learn. Outside of university, I enjoy sports and travelling, and I recently spent 3 weeks travelling around Asia. Meeting new people and experiencing different cultures has enhanced my friendliness, approachability, and I am easy to talk to, which I believe is really important when tutoring students. I’m patient, supportive, and good at adapting my teaching style to suit different learners, helping students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in Maths.

My lessons are typically 1 hour online, although I am flexible depending on the student’s needs. I usually begin with an initial consultation to understand the student’s current level, strengths, and weaker areas. My teaching focuses heavily on worked examples and exam questions, as I believe the best way to improve in GCSE Maths is through practical application and exam practice. I achieved an A* at GCSE Maths and an A at A-level, and my lessons are aimed at GCSE students looking to build confidence and improve their grades.
