About Daanyal
I am a keen and adaptable tutor, and will be readily available to cater for your needs. I offer the perspective of a current Cambridge medical student at Christ's College (top performing College), from a state school background (Caerleon Comprehensive School, South Wales). I am also friendly and chatty - looking to make the application process as enjoyable an experience as possible!
Existing experience (>25 hours) :
- Helped run the 2023 Cambridge Medicine interview mock workshop with Cambridge MedSoc
- GCSE/A-Level Maths, Chemistry and Biology tutor with TutorDoctor Cambridge
- tutoring in UCAT (independent)
- personal statement reviewing (independent)
Qualifications:
- First Class results in 1st and 2nd years of Medicine (ranked in top 15% in 1st year). Predicted a First Class in 3rd year.
- Top 10% of BMAT and UCAT results in the 2020 cohort.
- 5 A* A-Levels and 12 A* GCSEs (Caerleon Comprehensive School)

I run focused online sessions to (1) direct applicants on developing their supra-curricular exploration, (2) support applicants with UCAT preparation, (3) perfect applicants' personal statements, and (4) provide realistic interview preparation tuition.
