About Max
I'm a 4/6 year medical student studying at James Cook University in northern Queensland, Australia. I'm back in Edmonton for 1 year so I can have my first kid close to family.
James Cook University (JCU) is known internationally for training the most work-ready graduates, with huge emphasis on real world skills.
I have years of experience teaching at levels throughout junior high, high school, undergrad, and even medical school already.
As a current student, I can make sure that all content taught will be the most up to date, current, and accurate information. I can tell you what examiners are looking for now, so you don't have to listen to someone who did their medical training 10 years ago.
Not only can I teach the content but I can guide you on your own learning habits to help make you a better long-term learner, and set you up for confidence and success in the real world!

I work under a spaced repetition framework as well as a clinical/real world model. I believe the best way to learn about the clinical sciences is to learn about them in a clinical way, both for future interactions with patients and acing exams.
Lessons are for high schoolers, undergrads in the 1st and second year, and med students just starting out.
I offer a unique perspective because I am studying in Australia using slightly different techniques than most students here in Edmonton.
