About Ilyas
I am a 21-year-old 3rd year medical student at Newcastle University. I went to school in Oxford, where I got nine 9s + one 8 at GCSE, and 3 A*s at A level (maths/bio/chem). I also got 3210 and Band 1 in my UCAT. I have been tutoring for over 2 years now online/in person in Oxford, and really enjoy helping students achieve their goals!! I am enthusiastic and engaging, and make sure that students feel excited about their lessons and learn as much as possible :)

I love teaching students based on how they like to learn and will change the lesson depending on the student's needs! My key priority is making sure students feel comfortable asking any questions they might have, so I can explain things in full detail and maximise their learning! My lessons are usually 1-2 hours long, to make sure we get the most out of teaching, but so the student doesn't get distracted/burnt out. In interview lessons I like to teach students topics that universities like to ask about (in order to improve the students' knowledge and confidence), and then carry out mock interviews for the student. These are extremely valuable as I can then provide feedback, which we can improve on in later lessons!

I would strongly recommend Ilyas as a tutor to everyone! He is very engaging and focused on things I struggled with to help me do as well as possible in my A levels. He also helped me with UCAT/interviews/personal statement, to help get my offer from Newcastle medical school :)
