About Sreeraag
I’m a first year student doing medicine at Imperial College London - I chose to do it because it involves lifelong learning, as well as enabling me to connect with a whole host of different people. I achieved the following grades at GCSE and A-Level: GCSE: 9 Grade 9s, 2 A*s and an A^ in Further Maths A-Level: 3 A*s (Biology, Chemistry, Maths) I achieved the following scores in my medical admissions tests: UCAT: 782.5 average, Band 1 SJT BMAT: S1 6.8, S2 7.7, S3 3.5A Aside from medicine, I like playing cricket, tennis and table tennis, and used to play the guitar. I have already had experience tutoring maths and English at Kumon centres, and the sciences at school clinics. This has helped me learn how to effectively tutor a wide variety of both subjects and pupils, as well as how to tailor my teaching style to each individual’s needs. For example, if a student is a visual learner (which I myself am!), we can take a more schematic and animation based approach, but if they are a more logical learner, we can take a stepwise approach where we break topics down into smaller components. Another method I like to use in tutor sessions and my own studying is reviewing past paper questions - they are a great way of applying knowledge in a format similar to exams. This helps highlight any areas of uncertainty, which we can then focus on during the session and develop a better understanding of. I also highly value a collaborative approach - the more questions, the better! Please get in touch for more information. I am happy to do a wide variety of medicine preparation sessions whether it be personal statements, admissions tests or interviews (either Imperial specifically or medical schools in general)
