About May
I am a third year medical student and I've come out of the 2023 entry admissions cycle with 4 medicine offers from Imperial, Bristol, Barts and the London and Norwich (UEA) of which I’d firmed Imperial.
Here are some stats that may be useful:
-GCSEs: 10A*s (8/9s)
-A Levels: 3 A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths
-BMAT: 6.5, 7.1 and 3.5A
-UCAT: 3010 Band 1
Although I have experience teaching the sciences and maths, I’ve had the most experience with interview preparation. Having passed all four of my interviews, I know the level needed to do well. The medicine application process has many hurdles and I can give advice at any stage.

Having gone through the admissions process, I can understand how difficult it can be so I hope to help you with the experience I've gained. Interviews are very nerve-racking and do take time to master, but I hope to give you tips and techniques to overcome these hurdles.
My sessions will mainly involve practising interview style questions and giving feedback as well as comprehensive, uni tailored mocks. The more practice the better from experience.

May is an amazing tutor!! During our sessions, she gave me honest feedback, which I then developed overtime. Not only was her feedback constructive, but it was also motivational. If I did something inpressive, she ensured to praise me and encourage me to continue doing it. If before our sessions I needed any help or clarification, I would simply message her and she would reply relatively quick. Her explanations of any queries I had were VERY helpful. She also arranged mock sessions to help me familiarise myself with the environment of an interview. In general, I gained so much from her sessions and I am very grateful for all the support and guidance I recieved from her.
May is highly intelligent and experienced with an extensive knowledge in the sciences and medical admissions processes. She is excellent at explaining complex topics to me in a way that is easy to understand. Not only does she do this with patience, but in a friendly and helpful manner - Highly recommend!
