About Eloise
Hello there! My name is Eloise, and I am a 3rd year Graduate Entry Medicine student. In 2024 I graduated in French from the University of Bristol, and having spent my year abroad in French-speaking Canada and France, I then spent my 4th and final year working very hard to complete my degree and apply for GEM. My dream is to work for Doctors Without Borders, using my medical and linguistic skills to provide aid in humanitarian crises. I am the founder and president of my university's Wilderness and Remote Medicine Society. All of this is to say, is that I am thriving in my third year of med school having not studied any science since GCSE. It is absolutely possible to do, and I firmly believe that if I can do it - anyone can! If this is you, or you are feeling daunted by the process, I am here to help, and to assure you that medicine is absolutely accessible for everyone if you put your mind to it.

As someone from a non-science background who is now on a Graduate Entry Medicine programme - I understand how daunting the thought of an MMI, panel interview, and the VR section of the UCAT is! I will tailor my tutoring to what you as an individual need the most help with. I will spend as little or as much time as you like on questions from question banks, or ones I have made up from previous experience. I will run mock MMIs, and make sure you feel prepared and confident going into your interviews! I will ensure that you understand exactly what your medical school is looking for in the interview, as no two interviews will be the same. Additionally, I am happy to help with the VR section of the UCAT as this was my strong point, scoring 790. I would also be happy to proofread and offer any advice on your personal statement. My previous experience involves working with primary school students and teenagers, in English and French.
