We will spend our time focusing on conversational fluency or drilling down into the specific pronunciation quirks that cause you trouble. My methodology leans on the analytical training I received during my master's degree to explain why certain phrases function the way they do. You will receive clear explanations regarding the differences between regional dialects so you can choose your own path.

Translating complex ideas between languages was my first real introduction to the nuances of human expression. My MA in Translation Studies from Kent State University provided the formal structure to my natural curiosity about how different cultures use words. I have spent 14 years observing how verb conjugation and cultural context shift based on where a speaker calls home.
It is fascinating to analyze why Latin American variants feel distinct from Castilian Spanish in various social settings. My students are often people juggling two or three languages who need someone to help them keep their thoughts organized. I find that the multilingual student is my favorite kind of person to support because they understand the mechanical depth of these shifts.
My approach is rooted in the idea that language is a bridge rather than a barrier. I am here to help you navigate this terrain with confidence.
