Mark is, hands down, the most incredible teacher I’ve ever had. The idea alone of attending Paramedic school was so intimidating to me, I almost didn’t follow through with it. My (now husband) was a prior student of Mark’s, and while he’d be on the couch studying for exams, I’d hear him listening to these quirky, funny, attention grabbing videos on YouTube. When he told me that the guy in the videos was his paramedic teacher Mark, I didn’t believe it at first. Not only did he know his $*#t, but he explained things in such a way that he made you WANT to listen, want to learn, want to become a paramedic. And after watching/listening to him, you ACTUALLY understood what was being taught and were able to retain that information. Two years later when I got accepted into Mark’s paramedic program, I truly felt honored and excited to learn from him. I was finally able to see first hand, in real life, just how amazing he was and how much he knew. Aside from all of this, Mark genuinely cares about every single one of his student’s success on a professional, personal, and emotional level. I still keep in contact with Mark, and would love to learn more from him again one day. I seriously can go on and on about all the reasons you should entrust the future of your learning into Mark’s hands, but I can assure you that from the second you meet him, everything I’ve said will make complete sense.
