About Molly
Hi, I'm a second-year student at the University of Bristol studying Physics with Innovation. I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand challenging ideas, and I believe anyone can succeed in Maths and Physics with the right support. When I started secondary school, I was in the bottom set for Maths — but with time, the right guidance, and persistence, I went on to take Further Maths at A-Level and now study Physics at university. That experience drives my belief that confidence and consistent support can completely change a student’s path in mathematical sciences. Through volunteering in local schools, I’ve mentored GCSE students and helped them grow in confidence ahead of exams. I bring that same patient, encouraging, and structured approach to all my lessons. I’m friendly, reliable, and well-organised — always prepared with a clear plan that fits your goals. Whether you want to boost your grades or just feel more in control of your learning, I’m here to help.

I use a question-first approach — starting with real exam-style questions to highlight key areas, then working backwards to teach the core concepts. This helps students focus on the most important content while also building strong problem-solving skills. Lessons are structured around the individual needs of each student, combining worked examples, guided practice, and regular review. My goal is to build both understanding and confidence, especially in preparation for exams. I’ve previously mentored GCSE students in Maths and Physics through volunteering at local senior schools, and I’m passionate about making tricky topics more accessible. Lessons are typically 1 hour long and are best suited to GCSE and A-Level students (ages 14–18).
