About Rohin
I’m a second year medical student at Australian National University with 5 years of tutoring experience. I received an overall score of 75 in the March 2023 exam, along with an S2 score of 83. So far, 92% managed to land an interview, and all interview students managed to get an offer!
Friendly, approachable, and extremely passionate about helping pre-meds go through a pretty jarring journey with less resistance and pressure. Outside of being a student, I love the visual arts, bingeing TV shows and good cinematic movies. If you have any good music suggestions (I don't genre-shame), feel free to send them through!

The process of getting into medicine can be pretty brutal, exhausting and sometimes soul crushing. Trust me, I’ve gone through the process multiple times myself.
I'm not here to give you some formulaic, cookie-cutter, one-dimensional recipe to sitting the GAMSAT/MMI. Instead, I'm here to make you a communicator, so that you can showcase who you are and how you see the world in a meaningful and persuasive way, regardless of the format.
The meat of our sessions together would involve a combination of
* Answering questions from my questions bank (SII quotes and MMI stems that I have collated myself),
* constant reflection and dissecting your responses for its substance,
* brainstorming ideas together, alongside challenging your values and beliefs
* strong focus on exam technique
* providing additional resources to hone your skills in your own time.
Additionally, I wholeheartedly believe that a focused mindset and healthy pool of motivation plays 80% of a role in our performance. I’ll try to help you wade through the resistance, uncertainty and stress so that you can sit the exam/interview knowing that you’ve done your best.
Also, if there’s anything extra you would want me to add into our lessons, I’d be happy to accommodate. Remember, it's a marathon, not a sprint, and I'm here to trudge with you along the sidelines until you hopefully get in!

Perfect! I got tutored from Rohin for only a short period of time but the improvements were massive. He is very good at tailoring the sessions according to your needs, based on your skills and what could be the best for your learning. Not only did he go beyond the class time to teach a few extra things, he also dedicated some time outside of class focusing on your mindset about the exam, which in my case, helped a lot to relieving the exam stress before and on the day. Trust me, you won't regret getting tutored from Rohin!

I know Rohin from tutoring that I've had in the past. I've had so many tutors in the past, and I genuinely believe that he's the most considerate and knowledgable. He's kind, compassionate, patient and always willing to spend a bit of extra time to explain those difficult topics. When it comes to a lot of the humanities in the GAMSAT, I know for a fact that Rohin would be able to provide significant insight. There have been many times where out tutoring would go outside our allotted time discussing some philosophy, politics or interesting psychology in an open and non-judgemental way. I'd recommend Rohin for GAMSAT tutoring.
Rohin tutored me for Section 2 GAMSAT. He was really supportive, spent a lot of time trying to explain how to tackle the exam, and also really focused on the importance of mindset. Couldn't recommend him enough!
