About Khalil
I’m a 2300+ online player and an experienced in‑person chess instructor who teaches students in school settings as well as online. I focus on helping players understand the game through clarity, calm thinking, and intuitive understanding. My coaching style is patient, structured, and centered on helping students see the meaning behind positions — not just memorize openings or follow engine lines.
I work with beginners, improvers, and competitive players who want to build confidence, reduce blunders, and develop a deeper strategic foundation. If you learn best through clear explanations, quiet focus, and steady improvement, I’d be a great fit for you. My goal is simple: to help you understand chess in a way that feels natural, logical, and genuinely enjoyable.
When I’m not playing or teaching chess, I love listening to music, writing, spending time with friends and family, and playing basketball.
