About Josh
I sat my A Level exams in 2026, achieving A* A* A in Maths, Physics and Economics. I also achieved 92/100 in A Level Maths Paper 2.
Having recently completed the same exams that my students are working towards, I have a strong understanding of the current A Level and GCSE exam structure and content. I understand that topics can seem difficult initially, and I aim to break them down clearly so that my students can fully understand the underlying concepts and develop the confidence to tackle challenging problems.
From next year, I will be studying Physics at university. I am very enthusiastic about Maths and Physics and enjoy helping others understand challenging concepts. I am reliable, patient and adaptable, tailoring my approach to each student's individual needs and goals.

I offer online tutoring in GCSE and A Level Maths and Physics, having recently completed my A Levels in 2026 with A* grades in both Maths and Physics, including 92/100 in A Level Maths Paper 2.
My approach follows an “I do, we do, you do” structure. I first explain a difficult concept step by step, then work through questions together with the student before giving them the opportunity to attempt questions independently. If they get stuck, I help them identify where they went wrong and explain how to approach the problem, gradually building towards being able to complete similar questions confidently on their own.
At the start of each lesson, we will revisit questions from topics that previously required significant support. This helps reinforce understanding and ensures that topics are properly mastered rather than simply covered once and forgotten.
Lessons are typically 1–2 hours long and are tailored to the student's level and individual needs. I use an iPad as a digital whiteboard, allowing me to work through equations, diagrams and problems clearly during online lessons.
I am happy to work with students who are struggling with particular topics, preparing for exams, or looking to strengthen their understanding and achieve higher grades.
Lessons are suitable for GCSE and A Level students in Maths and Physics.
