About Catherine
I am a 1st year Medical Student with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) degree. I have been teaching/tutoring children at all ages in Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics), Mathematics, English, and Music (Cello) since high school. I also have experience working with children in various fields, including after-school homework help/activities, volunteering at children's hospitals, and babysitting.

My teaching methods are always student-focused. This means that it is very flexible and caters towards the student’s learning goals. As long as I am provided with study materials, I will make sure to look over them in advance. I also highly welcome questions and feedback at any time, and will also adjust my teaching methods based on the student’s preferences in learning (e.g. didactic, independent, hands-on) and strengths/weaknesses. Finally, I hope to make classes as fun as possible! If there are any interesting ways to teach a subject (e.g. books, movies, games), I’ll do my best to incorporate them.
