I LOVE being a teacher. Seeing young people learn, grow, and build confidence in themselves is incredible. I also love showing students that learning can be fun! I often will have hands-on activities to show a concept and believe in learning through play.

My lessons range depending on the student need. I am able to collect and gather data about a student and cater learning experiences that yields positive results. Each students lessons are geared towards their specific learning goals and interests in order to gain maximum engagement.
What sets me apart from other tutors is that I have spent the last 10 years teaching students how to read and learn successfully. My students are happy and engaged. I am certified to teach all subject areas K-8. I hold an advanced degree in Educational Psychology & Learning and Assessment which allows me to collect and analyze student data to create developmentally appropriate teaching and learning goals for each student.
