About Lydia
I am a multi-talented and ambitious individual with excellent communication skills and a fluency in Arabic and French, driven to make a positive impact in what I do.
I approach tutoring in an innovative, enthusiastic and inclusive manner, with an emphasis on interactive learning. I have a demonstrable passion for the intricacies of foreign languages and cultures that I love to share and ignite within my students. One of the ways I do this is to encourage learning through a range of authentic channels, allowing an exploration and advancement of skills in each discipline (reading, writing, listening and speaking) through watching films, reading novels and poetry, and keeping abreast of current affairs.
I am a well rounded linguist with an in-depth knowledge of the languages and cultures I teach, having spent four years studying at university and abroad, and having also spent time working in both languages in a number of countries.
I am really excited about sharing my knowledge and passion with students and look forward to meeting you!
