About Maxime
I spent the last 2.5 years in the education world, ranging from 10 to 15-year-olds in inner-city schools to 26-55 year-olds in rural prisons. Every student is different—from their story and motivation to their skill set and learning needs—and I tailor my lessons to complement their style.

You know how you read about those people who scored a 165+ on their diagnostic, without any prep whatsoever? I was not one of those people. I scored in the low 150s the very first time I took the test. What those people had that I did not was simply a strong command of reading and logic at the outset.
The way I see the LSAT studying, there are two hurdles. The first one isn't test-specific: it's knowing how to read arguments, using grammar to your advantage, and seeing patterns. This is the one that's crucial to success on the test, and necessary for success on the second hurdle. The second hurdle is knowing the LSAT question types and how to get around them. This becomes more important as people try to break that 165+ barrier and especially into the 170s.
My method stresses that all the most important work for this test comes outside the tutoring session. What I focus on in tutoring sessions is figuring out how to make our sessions accelerate your path outside the session. Whether it's talking through how to practice reading, diving deep into analytics, going through specific question types, or explaining super tough questions, I have an eye for the needs of the student.
