About Bianca
I have witnessed how much confidence and acceptance students/people experience when they are able to reach the goals they have set out for themselves as they learn the English language. I enjoy building healthy relationships and being a source of encouragement and support to students/those I come in contact with. I love helping students/people. I have seen how desperate people are to learn the English language, and as a native English speaker I feel I have been given a gift and this is something I can share with students/others. So many students/people desire to learn and to be given the opportunity to develop in their English abilities and I am able to assist them in doing so.

I am passionate about seeing people of diverse culture, race, age, economic statuses and ethnic groups equipped and it brings me great joy being able to help others grow in their English ability. I remain a kind, passionate and patient teacher. I sincerely believe in providing a well-structured classroom and carefully creating a stable and secure environment for my students. Working with students as individual learners is of utmost importance to me.
I aim carefully to sufficiently recognize the learning styles of students and to comfortably accommodate and assist them be as comfortable as possible when learning the English language. My goal when planning my weekly lessons is focusing on the visual, auditory, linguistic, kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal and logical learning style of each student. My experience has taught me that every students’ way of learning - with the goal to understand, is different from the next and I will do my best to ensure my lessons accommodate the classroom as a whole.
I try to have my classes as educational as possible and this requires me to think outside of the box. I find that establishing a demonstrative style of teaching is vital as social media and the accessibility thereof is broadened everyday regarding educational material.
I have been an experienced ESL teacher to students from +-six different nations aged eighteen-forty+. My classes consisted of six - twelve students. I was occasionally responsible for more than one class at a time. In saying so, this doubled the number of students I facilitated in learning activities which I had set out beforehand, that targeted specific learning topics and language skills. These classes varied anywhere from beginner-intermediate to academic proficiency. I have also been a private English tutor to two Chinese brothers aged nine and eleven where I most often focused on the lower and upper intermediate level of learning. I naturally flip between being a demonstrator, facilitator, delegator and conductor within the classroom. I use the direct method of teaching as well as communicative language teaching. I gravitate towards task/ inquiry based learning, along with physical response and the eclectic approach.
