About Daniel
Helloooo there! I'm a 4th-year Microbiology and Immunology student at Western University with a passion for teaching, scientific research, and academic mentorship. Having recently gone through the gruelling MCAT journey myself, I know firsthand just how daunting it can be and exactly what it takes to conquer it.
I scored a 517 overall on the MCAT (96th percentile), with a near-perfect 131 in CARS. The rest of my score breakdown was a 130 C/P, 129 B/B, and 127 P/S.
As a coach, my goal is to break down AAMC logic and provide a supportive environment. I pride myself on being approachable, patient, and deeply invested in my students' success.
When I'm not tutoring or working in the lab, I'm usually playing video games (Valorant lately) and reading!

CARS is often thought of as a "you either have it or you don't" section of the MCAT, but that simply isn't true. It is a skill that can be honed and developed like any other. Through our sessions, I will provide you with clear strategies and frameworks that give you a consistent, repeatable method for confidently approaching any passage.
Step-by-Step Diagnostic Methodology:
When we first start out, we'll follow a structured method to isolate your weak spots and improve your score:
1. Strategy Overview: We begin with a high-level discussion of core CARS tips and strategy. I typically do this in our first free 30 minute lesson, which also allows us to see if we're a good fit!
2. Live Practice & Diagnosis: We dive straight into live practice so we can detect the exact root cause holding your score back. Whether it’s passage analysis, question interpretation, or falling for AAMC trap answers.
3. Targeted Execution: We make a plan to correct those specific logical blind spots.
Tailored to Your Learning Style (ADHD & Beyond):
Every student processes information differently, which is why I completely reject a one-size-fits-all approach. I have experience tutoring both neurotypical and neurodivergent learners, including individuals with ADHD. I actively adapt my teaching, pacing, and explanations to tailor perfectly to your unique needs and strengths as a student.
