I encourage critical thinking through discussions about biological phenomena, ensuring students understand the "why" behind processes.
English Language Arts: For language arts, I focus on improving reading comprehension, writing, and communication skills. I help students dissect literature for themes and literary devices, and guide them through the writing process by emphasizing brainstorming, drafting, revising, and editing. Discussions and debates promote critical analysis and expression.
Typical Lesson Plan:
