About Malyka
My goal is to empower the student and foster a love for learning. I have volunteered teaching English to ESL students abroad and I was a teacher's assistant for an AP Biology class. I believe it is important to encourage students to explore their own curiosity. The classroom is a place to have fun and also to build critical thinking skills. I love to hear my students' feedback and support their achievements whether big or small.

I have been an online English tutor for 5 years and I have tutored elementary and high school students. I make it a priority to engage students with interesting topics and to use a variety of educational resources. In a lesson, we play games that build their grammar and vocabulary. I help students hone their writing skills with practice writing their own short stories and essays. I also prepare my them for the SAT and IELTS exams.
