About Katya
I used to be a student who would always take math tutoring. And I would struggle with the subjects I do best now; literacy, math, and Spanish. Through these hard times, I learned and developed patience, hope, and different skills to achieve and master these subjects. And it's okay if you don't understand the subject like a friend or someone else might, since we all are unique and intelligent in our own ways. Remember, it's ok to make mistakes, as mistakes are the only way for you to learn from them and master your knowledge! I go at a normal understanding pace, and you can always ask me if I need to speed up or slow down for your best understanding. I respect students no matter what, and expect to be treated the same. I might not be a professional yet, but I will help and gain experience into becoming a helpful and fun tutor!:)

Greetings, my name is Katya, I am a 15-year-old female in grade 10! I love helping others in subjects I understand the best like Algebra 1, Spanish 1, and literacy. I have patience in teaching students at different learning speeds and disabilities. My lessons are for students age 10-13 (grades 5-8) for Algebra 1 and below in math, Spanish 1 only in language, and English grammar for word spelling & punctuation. Typically, my lessons will be for 45-50 minutes through Zoom meetings. I try to approach different problems with different methods, and will make sure the student understands the topic. I will help with homework, look at different examples, and make sure to have fun!
