About Reina
I have been teaching Spanish for 8 years, supporting learners in developing both strong language foundations and confident communication ability. I hold a B.A in Hispanic Studies and an M.A in Spanish Language Education, which allow me to combine cultural knowledge with effective teaching strategies. My approach emphasises patience, clarity, and encouraging learners to practice actively.
I believe every student deserves personalised support. Some learners want Spanish for travel, others for academic success, and many for professional growth. I adapt lessons to individual goals through structured practice, conversation guidance, and consistent encouragement. I help students build confidence step by step so they feel comfortable speaking naturally.
Outside teaching, I remain connected to Spanish through literature, cultural exploration, language exchange, and continual study of new teaching methods. These experiences enrich my lessons and keep them authentic. Watching students progress from hesitant beginners into confident Spanish speakers is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work.

Lessons are tailored to each level. Beginners work on essential phrases, pronunciation foundations, simple grammar structures, and everyday conversation confidence. Intermediate learners expand verb mastery, reading comprehension, writing practice, and more natural spoken fluency. Advanced students refine academic writing, cultural nuance, professional communication, exam preparation, and expressive conversation skills. Authentic materials such as Spanish music, articles, and cultural topics are included to create deeper engagement.
Learning Spanish builds confidence, cultural curiosity, and global connection. Students often feel empowered when they can express themselves in a new language and understand new perspectives. My goal is to provide a friendly, motivating environment where learners grow steadily and enjoy the journey of becoming fluent.
