About Isabel
My interest in programming started with curiosity about how logical steps could create functional solutions, which inspired me to pursue a B.Sc in Computer Science followed by an M.Sc in Software Engineering. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided students at different levels, helping them build foundational coding skills, develop analytical thinking, and gain confidence in software development. My teaching style is patient, structured, and adaptable, ensuring that each learner can progress at their own pace while grasping both theory and application.
I create lessons that combine detailed explanations, coding examples, problem-solving exercises, and project-based learning. Students are encouraged to explore solutions independently, experiment with code, and develop resilience through iterative learning. This approach helps them gain deep understanding and long-term retention.
Outside the classroom, I stay engaged with emerging programming technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, integrating these insights into lessons to maintain relevance. Watching learners evolve from initial uncertainty to becoming confident, independent programmers is extremely fulfilling and drives my ongoing commitment to computer science education.
