About Kin
I am a violin tutor with a bachelor's degree in Music and over 8 years of teaching and performance experience. My lessons focus on guiding students on their personal musical journeys while building technical skill and expressive artistry. Students develop posture, tone, bowing, vibrato, and shifting through structured exercises and repertoire.
I integrate sight-reading, ear training, and theory for well-rounded musicianship. Beginners gain confidence and foundational skills through accessible lessons. Intermediate students refine phrasing, articulation, and musical expression. Advanced students focus on performance preparation, repertoire mastery, and stylistic interpretation. I also prepare students for exams, auditions, competitions, and recitals. Lessons are offered online and in-person for flexible scheduling.
My teaching emphasizes patience, encouragement, and consistent progress. Creativity, improvisation, and personal expression are encouraged at every level. Students receive individualized feedback and practice guidance. Lessons foster discipline, independence, and artistic growth. Each session balances technical training with expressive development.
