About Clara
I am a second-year Sociology student at the London School of Economics (LSE) looking students to tutor in Spanish for any level, from beginners, Spanish for GCSEs or A level preparation or Spanish for a business context. I am Spanish, therefore I will be able to provide the student with an extensive range of vocabulary, and idioms to be confident to keep a conversation in Spanish. I have experience tutoring math in high school that resulted in my students increasing their grade to a B and B+.

My teaching method depends on the student and the level they have which is why I usually chat with them about their expectations from the classes and their goals with the language, and from this I structure the planning of the classes.
For beginner Spanish:
We start with the basics, Greetings, numbers, Pronunciation, Introduction to the verbs. And we add new content every week. I try to make the classes fun ( depending on the student's age) we can have interesting or fun conversations and start by watching things and Spanish and moving onto reading in Spanish as the weeks go on.
For other levels of Spanish the level of the exercises and the complexity of the vocabulary increases.
And for GCSEs and A levels the classes can focus on preparing the test
For Spanish in Business we can focus on whichever area the student needs more help in. And focus on vocabulary and expressions that are useful in the business context
