About Jen A
I trained in physical science and electrical engineering at UNLV and CSN. I did University Math Tutoring (Qualified to Calculus III) and public school day-at-a-time and vacancy-filling teaching about 1999 to 2018. I also got licensed in: financial services ( Health, life & annuity production), did: business lecturing / marketing/networking. I can help with not only HS level math & science: I can help with many topics of : Master's and Doctorial -level of paper-writing, like: ELL education and Special Education editing.

In group settings, I maintain an atmosphere of respect, fairness, and fun, learning ( and I do my best, to keep subjects interesting with applied information and examples ). In individual tutoring: I determine what concepts or areas are an obstacle to the testing or grading challenges, and I trouble - shoot, to fill in gaps, that may be missing in foundation of topics, to allow the student to go on and continue with the concepts the main subject teacher has been using ( but cover them so they understand better ) . … to duplicate, with the emphasis on applications> I prefer to early: stop a student form falling, behind. I prefer my students, to basic grasp concepts, of topics … and I emphasize/coach the fact of student's attitude and enjoyment of study and practice (Math practice or writing practice), being important, for success, & mastery of subjects, long term.
