About Jon
I am a highly experienced and qualified teacher (30 years) in secondary education. I was a Head of Geography and Head of Humanities for 22 years. l have also been an examiner for Edexcel, AQA and CIE at GCSE, O` Level and A Level Geography since 2002. I have many years experience of tutoring students in exam busting sessions across the state and private sector with an excellent degree of success. I have covered exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, OCR, CIE and Eduqas.

I can offer 1:1 tutoring or small group sessions. Sessions can range from teaching topics to detailed exam practice. I am also able to give feedback or for you to ask me questions by e-mail. I have over 4,000 hours of tutoring experience. I get excellent results but also meet the needs of each unique student. I have a vast bank of exam papers, mark schemes, resources, model answers and revision materials all online. I believe in being adaptive to the needs of the pupil so therefore have a range of teaching styles. I get the pupil to try and have high expectations of themself, raise confidence and motivation in their performance. I am highly motivated, hard working and enthusiastic and always listen to the needs of students. I have excellent subject knowledge and know the exams like the "back of my hand".
