High-achieving student, teaching history to mainly kids in elementary + middle school virtually

My meetings with Wasima was wonderful, she thoroughly explained the work and gave highly informative feedback and answers on topics I was concerned with. Overall, an amazing teacher...I absolutely love her and I would recommend to get her as a mentor as I learned so much and even improved through the meetings that were flexible as she is very understanding and encouraging throughout

Wasima has been a tutor for a long time. When I taught her in 8th grade, she would meet with other students in our classroom at lunch time to help them with their Math lessons and prepare for the Regents. I was always impressed with how patient and creative she was, ensuring each student got the help they needed. I'm sure Wasima can help you reach your potential.

I think Wasima is a trustworthy teacher as she takes time to understand students' issues with math problems and gives direct explanations without getting irritated or showing disappointment which is a quality I believe most tutors/teachers lack. I would personally recommend wasima to Superprof members who aren't very confident in their work as she makes you feel as if it's okay to make mistakes and makes you feel as if she’s not just helping you because she has to but because she wants to see your progress and grow from your work. She has helped me many times with geometry work I couldn't understand and she’s shown me different ways to solve it which makes the work easier, whether it is to solve area & perimeter or the Pythagorean theorem she’s helped me solve it without any problems.
